Helen is positive, focused and able to motivate others. Pragmatic and action-oriented, she has 20 years of multi-sector, People Development experience in corporates and mid-tier businesses.


Helen has held senior HR positions at Virgin Retail, Virgin Media and MoneySupermarket as well being the HR Director at Omnifone, a PE backed cloud B2B music technology company and Brave Bison PLC an AIM listed social video company.

She enjoys getting under the skin of the business, understanding its commercial objectives, revenue drivers, costs and the competitive landscape to enable the identification of achievable and cost effective people actions. With strong generalist HR experience and a good knowledge of UK, European and US employee legislation, Helen has managed projects across the whole employee lifecycle; resolving complex employee relations issues, defining organisational structures, managing restructures, volume resourcing and finding uniquely skilled and highly sought after candidates.

She believes in creating a positive working environment and has devised engagement, development and leadership plans that have fostered an effective and productive company culture. She will lead by example, immersing herself in a business, being a trusted advisor to the Board and building relationships at all levels.

Helen gained a BA in European Studies from the University of Essex and then went on to complete her post-graduate study in Human Resource Management at Middlesex University.
