She develops people strategies that underpin high performance and growth and has over 20 years multi-sector experience working in both corporate and mid-tier companies. Vee started her career working in commercial roles at Harrods and on the Marks and Spencer graduate scheme. She went on to hold senior HR roles at Warner Music, Electronic Arts, Whitbread and the Times Educational Supplement. At Whitbread she held a number of roles including: Head of Group Resourcing, Head of HR for a large pub restaurant sale and HR Director for Costa Coffee in Shanghai. She then joined the Times Educational Supplement as HR Director, after its sale by News International into private equity and during its transformation to a leading digital recruitment and social media platform for the teaching profession.
She has extensive global experience having lived / worked in the USA, China and the Caribbean as well having had responsibilities within Europe and South Africa. Vee has also worked as a change consultant with clients such as The Ministry of Sound and The Princes Trust, has co-founded a mindfulness training company and skippered commercial charter yachts in the Caribbean.
Vee is skilled at helping leaders and their teams prosper during times of change and uncertainty often against a backdrop of demanding VUCA environments. She is a certified Human Systems Dynamics practitioner, an approach for working with complexity in organisations and communities. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, holds a post graduate diploma in marketing and is currently undertaking a global certificate in organisation development.
