Shané has an HR career spanning over 25 years’. She is a commercially astute HR Director who is very much focused on delivering results that drive and improve business performance.
Shané has gained experience both domestically and internationally, working in various sectors including Retail, Automotive, Recruitment and Professional Services. Shané has worked for companies including Whitbread, Home Retail Group, Mercedes Benz, and Aggreko, as well as other international companies. She has held senior HR Director roles with responsibility for Europe, Middle East and Africa, and has worked on HR projects in Asia and the US.
Shané is a natural problem solver who uses her extensive experience in transformation and change; HR strategy development; and leadership development and coaching to work with business leaders to improve business performance and increase employee engagement. She has led transformation projects in various countries which included acquisitions and restructuring. She was also part of a team of three Regional Directors who had strategic and operational responsibility for leading the EMEA region of 1000 employees for 5 months during 2015, whilst a new Regional leader was being recruited. This experience provided the opportunity to get more involved in the financial and commercial aspects of the business.
During her career, Shané has been involved in many strategic projects. In her last role, Shané was responsible for developing the global Inclusion strategy and then implementing an annual plan which aimed to build an inclusive culture and increase employee engagement. She was also responsible for developing and delivering the strategic HR plan to support Aggreko’s role as a preferred supplier at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
