Karen is a bright, enthusiastic and highly motivated HR professional with 20 years of commercial HR experience, having spent most of her HR career within the manufacturing and logistics sector, working for Samworth Brothers Distribution and Moran Logistics, currently the 7th Largest family owned chilled distributor in the UK.
Karen has previously worked with SMEs providing advice and support on all areas of HR, on both day to day and a strategic level. She has successfully supported clients through complex TUPE transfers, restructuring exercises involving up to 300 employees, site relocation’s and managing costs for recruitment and absence.
Karen has a proven ability to function as a tactical HR Business Partner with the capacity to develop and implement successful HR strategies that support a corporate mandate. Manages teams and situations using a positive and proactive approach to achieve the main business mission, whilst remaining commercially focused. Able to assimilate and implement a business idea to support the organisations’ overall plan.
Karen gained her HR qualifications from Oxford Brookes University and is a member of the CIPD.
