John has over 25 years-experience as a HR and Lean Professional with extensive experience in both the private and public sectors. With a successful track record of delivering successful change and continuous improvement in both large scale Global Blue Chip companies and SME organisations.
John is a fully indentured Mechanical Engineer who entered the world of HR as a Lean Trainer. Over 25 years later he has worked for major international and global organisations such as BNFL, Wincanton Logistics, Kimberly Clark, RZD, (Russian Railways), North Wales Police, Eddie Stobart Logistics and AGRO Merchants and has held Board level roles in HR and Health & Safety.
He has considerable experience in driving change in both large scale and SME organisations and a proven track record of running projects, operations and business sectors from 35 head SME’s to business divisions of over 10,000 employees.
John is particularly experienced at talent identification/ resourcing and talent management developing organisations through business and process led people strategies.
John’s specialities include organisational development, business turnaround, strategic development, L&D, rationalisation, restructures, closures, performance management, leadership development, IR & ER.
He has extensive experience working in a variety of businesses and organisations in both Private and Public Sectors, these include; Logistics/ Supply Chain, Local Government, National Police Service, Hi-Tech Start-ups, Retail (Food, GM, Clothing, E-commerce), Professional Services, Manufacturing, Corporate Back Offices (National & International), Engineering, High Spec Technology and Legal. Experience also includes working in, creating and developing fully matrixed management structures.
John also has both successfully held the position as a Non-Executive Director for a Chamber of Commerce and managed the sale of a SME Engineering business.
