Christine is an experienced and influential HR professional who believes effective HR brings important value to businesses.

Christine has a track record of working with senior teams to deliver results with 25 years’ experience in private and public sector business including construction, education & distribution. She has a real flair for finding and delivering solutions in challenging situations. Her approach is pragmatic and practical with a focus on building trust and credibility with colleagues.

Christine’s most recent role was working as part of the executive team of Barratt London (part of the Barratt Group, UKs largest house-builder). As the Senior HR business partner, her achievements included restructuring Customer Service to improve net promoter scores. A strong advocate for businesses developing their talented people and harnessing their knowledge to drive success and build organisational capability. Whilst at Barratt London she developed an innovative programme that transformed both business processes and colleague engagement leading to tangible improvements in results.

Her early experience as an Operational Manager in Royal Mail inspired her move to a career in HR during a period of challenging and significant change for the company and underpins her practical approach. Whilst there she developed expertise across the range of HR disciplines working alongside colleagues to tackle all sorts of people issues. Her key achievements included restructuring a specialist courier business focused on the financial sector, securing a turnaround in profitability, reducing employee costs and maintaining customer service. Whilst working in Further Education she renegotiated key policies and gained valuable experience in employee relations and employment law.

Christine has a BA in Social & Political Science from Cambridge University and Post Graduate diplomas in Marketing and HR Management.
