Carole has a track record of delivering transformational change, including significant divestiture and merger projects, most recently as HR Director leading the UK & Ireland merger of Douwe Egberts Master Blenders 1753 with the coffee business of Mondelez to form a new company Jacobs Douwe Egberts. In starting up a new company Carole has had recent experience in shaping a new culture, developing HR policies, and defining reward and benefits. Carole built a new HR team to support the JDE business.
With more than 20 years HR experience in both global organisations and small business entities, across FMCG Retail, Food Service and Hospitality, Carole has worked closely with functional leaders supporting them through challenging people situations. Examples include implementing a 3rd party sales and distributor network for Douwe Egberts, Food Service resulting in improved profitability. Building a sales competency framework and running sales development centres resulting in accelerated sales growth. Managing an office re-location whilst maintaining customer service standards and sales growth.
Carole values simplicity, accountability and entrepreneurship. She likes to be part of a team building trusted, collaborative relationships. Carole has a CIPD post graduate diploma.
